Anime movies recommendations!!!

Yes, you read it right. Anime movies are well-known for such amazing storylines, beautiful, out-of-the-world dreamy animations which make us high (lol) and gorgeous Osts that make us kinda miss the movies every time we stumbled upon a bunch of youtube piano playlist! Hahaha please feel relate to it.
Btw I wanna share here some of the anime movies that I have watched and believed me, they're all AMAZING! I have yet to watch some other masterpieces but please, this is all based on what I found on my Youtube Recommendation lol. Let's jump into the topic now!
.
1. 君の名は Kimi No Nawa - Your Name (2016)

.
Synopsis: High schoolers Mitsuha and Taki are complete strangers living separate lives. But one night, they suddenly switch places. Mitsuha wakes up in Taki’s body, and he in hers. This bizarre occurrence continues to happen randomly, and the two must adjust their lives around each other.

I'll be honest here, at 10 minutes first of the movie, I wasn't feeling the hype that the movie was bringing because I was scared of the fact that her parents turned into a pair of big pigs. But after that, my oh my! Don't judge a book by its cover! I was super drowned into the mystical, yet magical wonders of the world shown in the movie. The message portrayed in the movie is hidden, so gotta keep on your focus while you watch this masterpiece!
.
Synopsis: 10-year-old Chihiro (Daveigh Chase) moves with her parents to a new home in the Japanese countryside. After taking a wrong turn down a wooded path, Chihiro and her parents discover an amusement park with a stall containing an assortment of food. To her surprise, Chihiro's parents begin eating and then transform into pigs. In this supernatural realm, Chihiro encounters a host of characters and endures labor in a bathhouse for spirits, awaiting a reunion with her parents.
(I watched this back in Youtube but they've put it down, you can try watching thru Netflix and Kissanime)
3. カラフル Karafuru - Colorful (2010)

I was actually searching for a random anime movie on Youtube before I stumbled upon this movie. It has a deep, deep meaning that brings me to tears after I finally understand the whole concept of the movie. As a struggling teenager-turned adult, I can totally relate to this movie's message: how to keep on living and make ourselves feel special. Since Japan has one of the highest rates of suicidal cases, this movie is amazing as it truly shows how amazing life is and how people should try to open their eyes and be grateful to the things they have, even the smallest moment can make us happy.
.
Synopsis: A sinful spirit is granted the opportunity to prove worthy of rebirth, inhabiting the body of a student who killed himself.
.
4. 蛍火の杜へ Hotarubi No Mori E - Into The Forest of Fireflies' Light

This movie has its own specialty: we all can feel the emotions. I can't deny how deadly this movie can be, it's amazing how the story can relate us to think about the reality of love. I was so into this movie at one time I cried so hard during the ending because I just felt so connected to the plot. Loving someone that we can't get, it's a questionable move whether it's worth it or not.
.
Synopsis: a young girl named Hotaru and her friendship with Gin, a strange young man wearing a mask, who she meets at the age of six in a mountain forest near her grandfather's country home. Hotaru learns that her friend is supernatural and that touching Gin will cause him to disappear forever. Hotaru returns every summer to spend time with Gin, and their relationship matures as both struggle with its limitations.

5. 映画 聲の形 Eiga Koe No Katachi - A Silent Voice (2016)
2016 - what a blessing year. After Your Name, this movie came to declare a fight hahaha. However, I love this movie. It's a very straightforward movie as it gives us clear messages about how people with disabilities were looked down upon and being normalized as victims of the bully in the community who don't know how to adapt well with the special ones. The movie is a bit slow in the front part, but we all gotta appreciate the beautiful animations that portrayed Japan well, right?
.
Synopsis: When a grade school student with impaired hearing is bullied mercilessly, she transfers to another school. Years later, one of her former tormentors sets out to make amends.
.
6. 風立ちぬ Kaze Tachinu - The Wind Rises
I came across this movie on Youtube after I watched 'A Letter To Momo' movie.
This movie was kinda inspiring as it shows how hard work can help us achieve our wishes and dreams! Plus point is that this movie is a fictionalized biopic of Jiro Horikoshi (1903–1982), designer of the Mitsubishi A5M fighter aircraft and its successor, the Mitsubishi A6M Zero, used by the Empire of Japan during World War II.
.
Synopsis: For Jirou, the years leading up to the production of his infamous Mitsubishi A6M Zero fighter aircraft will test every fiber of his being. From witnessing firsthand the growing antisemitism in Germany to fatefully reuniting with Naoko at a summer resort, his many travels and life experiences only urge him onward—even as he realizes both the role of his creations in the war and the reality of the waning health of his beloved. As time marches on, he must confront an impossible question: at what cost does he chase his beautiful dream?
7. 星を追う子ども Hoshi wo Ou Kodomo - Children Who Chase Lost Voices (2011)

This story reminds me of how we wanted to feel lost sometimes, as the reality can be too hustle which makes us feel stressed out. The movie plot was kinda confusing to me at first, but don't worry you can grab it by the first half of the movie. Overall, you kinda feel that you want a song about your life too!
.
Synopsis: When she hears a strange song from a crystal radio, a young girl named Asuna is transported to a world of mythical beasts and brave warriors.
.
8. ももへの手紙 Momo E No Tegami - A Letter To Momo (2011)

I gotta say this movie has its very amazing specialty: Funny yet saddening. I can't stop laughing when the monsters were trying to act as if they're cool but naaahhh you gotta go and watch this movie it's worth it! Why I still cried watching this art? Because I felt relatable to the story, I mean I have a father yet I didn't have that strong bond with him, even now unlike Momo. She acted so so strong to fight her feelings of missing her dad, but she stands strong, ahh such an admirable character.
.
Synopsis: Clinging to an unfinished letter written by her recently deceased father, young Momo moves with her mother from bustling Tokyo to the remote Japanese island of Shio. Upon their arrival, she begins to explore her new habitat, meeting local children and learning their routines and customs. However, it's not long before several bizarre occurrences crop up around the previously tranquil island.
.
Bonus: ヴァイオレット・エヴァーガーデンVaioretto Evagaden - Violet Evergarden

This is a series of episodes, which every episode will unveil new story and yet the stories are worth your bucket of tears and time to spend watching all the 14 episodes.
.
For now, these are the only anime movie that I can recall watching them back when Youtube doesn't realize how many anime movies out there: I miss those times tsk tsk tsk. Anyway thanks for reading this and who knows I may do another compilation of great anime movies!!!
